WHAT IS SIN BEAM?
An efficient alternative to standard profiles
SIN BEAM is a type of steel beam with a sinusoidally shaped web, used as a more efficient alternative to standard IPE and HEA/B profiles in structures with larger spans.
The concept of corrugated web profiles was developed in the second half of the 20th century in Europe, as a response to the need for weight optimization and improved structural efficiency in industrial buildings. With advances in cold forming and automated welding technologies, these beams are finding increasingly broad application in modern construction.

ADVANTAGES
Why SIN BEAM?
Optimized cost: 15–35% reduction in steel consumption
Improved resistance to local buckling
More efficient stress distribution
Simplified and precise production documentation (shop drawings)
0% waste - beams produced to exact size from 4 to 16m
Eliminates the need for additional stiffeners (ribs)
